The Broadus Junior High Basketball teams finished their year last weekend at the end of season tournament at Sacred Heart, in Miles City. Both teams finished the tournament similar to how they went into the tournament: the girls were the two seed and finished second, the boys were the third seed and finished third.

The tournament started out for the girls with a 45-9 win against Wibaux on Friday. On Saturday, the girls beat Ekalaka 32-10, and then proceeded to the championship round against Jordan, where they lost 43-54, taking second place.

The boys won their first game on Friday 41-35 over Plevna, and on Saturday lost against Jordan 22-38. The boys then won against Wibaux 50-38 to take third. Terry won first overall in the boys tournament.

Dustin Lanke, coach of the boys, now transitions into his role as first year head coach of the high school boys basketball team. Kristie Lanke, coach of the JH girls, will work as assistant boys coach.
