This is a season of giving, but have you noticed how often people dwell upon what others have? Over the years I have heard many comments from individuals who believed other school districts were more fortunate. I have also heard other school administrators state they wish they had, or offered something we have in Broadus. It is easy to get caught-up with what other people, communities, or schools possess.

Your school has been fortunate to complete many upgrades the past several years, provide chrome books for all students, and offer a good selection of academic and extra-curricular activities for a small rural school district. Maybe to truly appreciate the “gift of giving” one must first learn to appreciate what they have?
