Dakotah Gali, pictured at far left, recently received the Dwight Chambers Rising Star Award, which honors "a current member in good standing of the Northern Division, National Ski Patrol, 35 years of age or younger, who has exhibited the qualities of dedication, commitment, and leadership in his or her local patrol, region, and/or division."

Dakotah, a 2006 Broadus Grad and 2011 University of Wyoming engineering graduate, is a member and former director of the ski patrol at the Antelope Butte Ski Area in the Bighorn Mountains. In addition to his ski patrol duties, Gali works as an instructor in outdoor emergency care, and over the years has helped Antelope Butte grow as a ski area through recruiting and training ski patrol candidates. Gali also works in Sheridan for Kennon Products, a company which designs and builds products including covers for military and civilian aircraft.
