$2,400 Found at Arvada Hidden in Tin Cans

While loading oats at Mose Whittenmeyer’s place near Arvada, Wyo., Jim Gordon and Coy Clabaugh found several tin cans and threw them out; one of them rattled and upon investigation they found them full of money, $2,400 in all, some in bills and others full of silver, and one can was full of nickels. This is supposed to be the property of Mose Whittenmeyer, who died last winter, and who was supposed to have a bank account but after his death no account was found but evidence was discovered where he had drawn out that amount earlier in the fall.
