Museum To Open June 5th

The Powder River Historical Museum will open Monday, June 5th.

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, and the museum will be open through the summer.

Jessica Malone, President of the Powder River Historical Society, tells us that the Historical Museum is excited to welcome back Deanna Twedt as Operations Manager this year. Deanna is in charge of organizing volunteers, who are always needed. Potential volunteers may stop by during operational hours to talk to Deanna and sign up on the calendar.

“Anything helps, even one day a month,” she commented.

Students will receive volunteer hours reported to the school for their volunteer duties.
