It seems like we rounded the bend into June and suddenly the season is in full swing with lots happening in our little town this summer….

The annual co-ed softball tournament typically held over the 4th of July weekend will take place this year on Saturday, June 17th and Sunday, June 18th. Sign up as a team of up to 15 players for $25 per player. Join us for food, prizes and softball action! Contact Brandon Schuetzle (406-853-4063) with registration or questions.

Pop over to the fairgrounds that same weekend for the Broadus Little Levi Rodeo. Team roping fundraiser, BBQ Dinner, and Rodeo Queen Contest on Saturday with the main events on Sunday, June 18th. Food, fun and adorable little cowboys and cowgirls!

There are some great community resource events happening in June as well….

Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center representatives are coming to Broadus with the following learning/training opportunities:

• QPR Suicide Prevention Training June 13th from 9am-12pm

• PAX Tools lunch seminar June 20th from 9am-1pm

Contact [email protected] for additional information. Both events will be held at the Community Center.

Miles City Outreach Clinic is hosting a Community Resources event to highlight organizations in our area. This is a multi-resource connection event where local free-service organizations will be on display. There is food, fun, and information for the whole family! The event will be held June 24th from 10-3 at Riverside Park in Miles City.

Then, next month, "Land That I Love" is the 2023 theme for 4th of July as we celebrate our rural community, agricultural lifestyle and our stewardship of this beautiful country! Activities include the Freedom Run, traditional parade led by our Grand Marshal Doug Gardner, Broadus Volunteer Fire Dept BBQ lunch and games, then entertainment and fireworks to round out the night. Watch our Facebook event page for more details and full schedule of events!
