In the 7th year of competition at the Franklin Memorial Rope N Stroke in Broadus, the top winning team consisted of Chad Gatlin, Dan Bird, and Jake Foulger, amongst a field of 11 teams. Competitors are teamed up with a header, heeler, and golfer on each team. Each team ropes three calves – the team ropers on live calves, and the golfer ropes a dummy. On the golfing side, the teams compete in a handicap scramble.

The top three teams won cash prizes, with additional prizes including buckles for the first place team, vests for second place, and customized coolers for third place.

Second place honors went to Trenton and Kathy Schaffer and Alyssa Ragsdale. Third place went to Jesse Fleming, Jake Newton, and Bailey Bice.

The event honors Clifford and Tori Franklin, who both enjoyed roping as well as golfing.
