Anna Hagedorn received Grand Champion honors in Goat Activities, an award sponsored by Powder River County Fair, at the event held last week.

4-Hers' hard work and mastery was on display in many project areas at last week's county fair.
"In leatherwork, the kids demonstrated skill and significant growth," Cody Morris, 4-H Leathercraft Judge explained, "and, you can see it in the quality and craftsmanship of their entries. It's very impressive!"
The craftsmanship was apparent across the board including a metal bench welded from old pickup parts made by Colton Jones, a metal bird feeder created by William Rodda and a wooden bar made with old barnwood and an epoxied counter made by Jayce Schroeder.
Each 4-Her shared with the judge what they learned while making their project during the interview judging event held the second day of the fair. Nine judges with expertise in over 30 project areas including gardening, clothing, leathercraft, woodworking, baking and photography listened to their stories. The interview judging results are as follows:
