Kara Lambert, our clubhouse manager, said it best "Rain or shine it's Scramble time!" We had 40 teams over the two days, with perfect weather for golf on Friday. Saturday was perfect weather for the country; golfers got wet but were prepared to play in the rain! We grossed $35,700 this year! Our largest tournament ever! Since last August we have sent $1200 to 25 individuals fighting cancer for a total of $30,000.
Friday the team of Patyn Viker, Alyssa Pearce, Sean Benson, and Austin Walter won first in gross. Shane, Shaw, Heather, and Clay LaPlant got second. Net was won by Marni Pauley, Bryce Bott, Wyatt Lesh, and Joe Brown. Logan & Jen Bird, Cole & Caity Riggs got second. Saturday gross was won by Sean Benson, Austin Walter, Ryan Dick, and Zach Fillingham. Second was won by Hayden Peters, Alli Kieckbusch, Jackson Smith, and Austyn Smith. Net winners on Saturday were Troy & Amanda Mills, Brady Williams, and Brittany Dinardi. Second place was Jacy Collins, Bea Knudson, Shawn and Cody Samuelson.
Huge thanks to Kara and her staff at the clubhouse for their wonderful food and service; Rolling Hills Golf Course Board for their incredible course that we get to play on! Appreciate all of the hole sponsors, community support, all those that volunteer to help put the event on. Next year will be our 20th tournament and we hope to make it bigger and better than ever. The dates are August 2 and 3rd, 2024!
