The Micro-Mania Wrestling Tour entertained a large crowd at Stockman's Club in Broadus last week, as the performers put on a WWE-like show for the audience.

In the prelude to the fights, actress Bridget Powers, aka "Bridget the Midget", who is best known for her adult films, sang two songs to pump up the crowd including Green Jelly's "Three Little Pigs" from the 90s.

Three matches took place over the course of the evening. In the title fight, "Heartbreaker" Dylan Michaels won the championship belt, besting wrestler 25 Cent in the finals with an athletic spin through the ropes before pinning him to the mats.

The Micro-Mania tour stopped through Broadus for a show while on their way to Sturgis for a multi-show week at the Sturgis Bike Rally.

We spoke to the Champ, Dylan Michaels, following the show.

Dylan is a third generation professional wrestler, and has been wrestling for three years. Dylan's father, "Beautiful Bobby Dean" wrestled for a number of years, while his grandfather, wrestling as "Lord Littlebrook" had a very successful career, as he wrestled in front of 93,173 fans in Wrestlemania III, which to the point in 1987 was the largest professional wrestling attendance in North America. He was inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2004.

Dylan told us that he tours around the US on the Micro-Mania tour, performing in up to 200 shows per year.

"My favorite part is traveling, seeing the world," he told us.

He went on to comment on the word "midget" which is used to describe the show and is sometimes considered a pejorative term by groups such as the Little People of America organization. The term is now generally used only when referring to performances and entertainment.

Dylan said: "Midget is not a bad word. It's been around to describe performers for over 100 years, and we embrace the term."

Meanwhile, fans of the show were thrilled by the performance, cheering and laughing as they watched the wrestlers perform acrobatic maneuvers, often finding themselves a part of the performance as the wrestlers left the ring and battled amongst the audience.

The Micro-Mania tour continues this week in Nebraska and Colorado, and may be seen on social media and their website http://www.micromaniatour. com.
