Stitch and Chatter Quilt club will be sponsoring a beginning quilting lesson on October 10, 2023, at 9 AM to 3 PM at the Faith Bible Church. Anyone interested in learning the basics of quilting is welcome to attend the free workshop.

Included in the workshop is terminology used in quilting, achieving the ¼” seam, selecting fabrics, choosing patterns, and pressing seams to name a few things to get you started making quilted articles. You will need to bring your cutting mat, ruler, cutter (if you have one), and a piece of fabric no bigger than ½ yard (a quarter yard will be enough) to practice cutting and pressing, and a sewing machine in good operating condition to use.

Lunch and refreshments will be served.
