St. Vincent de Paul Store News

November 16, 2018

By Charlee Kuhbacher

Cash donations through the months of November and December will go to the food bank or holiday food baskets, for those in need.

St. V’s is hosting an Ugly Sweater Contest during the Broadus Christmas Stroll, November 30th with judging time at 6 p.m. at the store. There will be four categories: Adults 19 & up, 9-18 year-olds, 8 & under, and Pets (reindeer, cats, dogs, sheep, goats & horses). There will be cash prizes, a kid’s prize, and a pet prize! Starting around 4 p.m. we will be roasting marshmallows outside. While inside, we will have coffee, hot chocolate, cookies and drawings.

We will end 2018 with so much to be thankful for, including a new building to continue to serve our community. Thanks to ALL who helped with our move - our wonderful volunteers who take time out of their busy lives and do a superb service to our community.

We thank everyone who donates to St. Vincent de Paul! Your donations have been simply amazing, and come from a wide area around Broadus and the surrounding area. We’re thankful you choose us.

We will be closed December 24th through January 1st to give our volunteers time home with their families during the Christmas Season. We will open up January 2nd, 2019.
