Virginia Robinson to hold title of Grand Marshal at July 4th Parade


At 98 years young, Virginia Robinson still enjoys playing cards at the Senior Center, where she handily beats opponents on a regular basis.

This year's Grand Marshal for the 4th of July parade will be Grand Lady Virginia Robinson.

During a recent interview, Virginia related the stories of her adventures spent in nearly a century of life in Southeastern Montana.

Virginia was born on August 12, 1920, at Kruger, MT, a now defunct burg located on Butte Creek. The third of seven children born to Clark & Gertrude Rumph, Virginia was preceded by brothers Roland in 1916, and Raymond in 1918.
