The Lady Hawks recorded their first win of the season on Friday, December 20th as they hosted Plevna for the first Broadus home game. A large crowd was on hand for the opening game of the season, and the Lady Hawks didn't disappoint.

The Lady Hawks went up early, leading 20-7 after the first quarter, and kept on the gas throughout the game to win 51-30.

Broadus led the game in most stats, racking up 21 steals as a team on the evening. Oliveah Schaffer lead the Lady Hawk scoring attack with 13 points, while Emma Isaacs scored 10.
