Two School Board Trustees Elected

The school board election came to a conclusion on May 8th, with three candidates vying for the two open trustee positions on the board. Waylon Billing received 285 votes, Bobbi Myers received 200 votes, and Kathryn Myers received 76 votes.

The two positions won by Billing and Bobbi are in District 79J, and are three year terms.

A trustee position is still open in the South Stacey School District.

The May school board meeting originally scheduled for May 13th was moved to May 20th, due to lack of a quorum.
