    Broadus golfers competed in two matches last week, while having their own home competition postponed due to cold weather and high winds. At Colstrip the golfers competed on a course featuring a number of water hazards, in generally good conditions that started out breezy but turned into “shorts and tee shirt” weather as the day progressed.     High school track meets which Broadus was set to attend last week were not held, due to weather. This week the Broadus high school team plans on meets at Belle Fourche on Tuesday, Laurel on Saturday, and then the Top 10 next week, for those who qualify. This designation makes Broadus eligible for grants to support tree planting and other tree projects. Mayor Chad Gatlin signed the 2024 Arbor Day Proclamation for April 26.
